Do you have an interest in woodcarving?
There are 3 levels of courses which you can attend, beginners, intermediate and advanced.
Please note, if you have never carved before you must start with the beginners course, if you wish to progress you can then attend the intermediate and finally the advanced course.
Listed below is an idea of what I cover on the courses:
Beginners course: A Mallard Duck
- Selection of raw material, sizing etc
- Carving of the duck
- Pyrography
- Detailing / painting
- Fitting of carved lime head to stick
- Sharpening wood chisels
- Treatment/finishing
For me to run a course I require a minimum of 2 people
The course is a 3 day course, accommodation can be booked nearby, please ask for details
